Ok, this is an exercise called "Tilty Cast" drawing that my teacher asked me to do. I realized that I often set up my still lifes so they are really easy for me, a horizontal table with fruit wonderfully lit so that it is relatively easy for me to show form. This set up was on a table at a crazy angle, with a white piece of paper (again at a crazy angle) under the objects. So I was really thrown off and found it very difficult. (Yes, I am cheating, I did this a few weeks ago!). I think I will try it again, this time knowing what to expect; the unexpected.
